In print from 1996 to 2010. BPM (Beats Per Minute) was an independent magazine publishing original content on dance music and its surrounding culture. I started contributing as Assistant Music Editor and proceeded to work my way to the top of the masthead. Merging with Moonshine Music in June of 2000, BPM then grew into a digital media company, publishing Vapors magazine (acquired in 2002. In print from 2000 until 2006. Vapors was the pre-blog ”bible” for sneaker culture, underground hip-hop, and street art) and C16 Autofiends (an underground magazine and early blog covering import car “tuner” culture and alternative motorsports including drifting and rally). For 13 years, I managed and directed editorial operations at BPM. And served as Associate Publisher of Vapors and C16 Autofiends.
